14 Days From Venice - Athens
April 29 - May 12, 2011
Please join me on a Treasures of the Adriatic voyage – a very special journey for listeners to Classical 96.3 and 103.1 FM.
We’ll begin in the incredibly romantic floating city of Venice. We’ll finish in the 3,400 year old city of Athens. In between we’ll discover the scenic wonders of the Dalmation Coast of Croatia, we’ll stop at the place where famed explorer Marco Polo was born and we’ll visit some magical Greek islands.
And we’ll do it all while savouring the deluxe accommodations aboard the 360 passenger small-ship Aegean Odyssey. All our meals (including complimentary wine with dinner) are included. The excursions to museums, palaces and other historic sites are part of the deal.
And most important, the exciting musical events are also in the package. We’ll be entertained by a Venetian Chamber Orchestra, a Croatian Vocal Ensemble, the Dubrovnik Symphony (on board a 16th century galleon), a singer from the Athens Opera and a merry band of Greek folk singers and musicians.
Come along with me on this marvelous adventure in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. These musical voyages sell out quickly so I hope you’ll soon decide to join our Classical 96.3 FM group of travelers.
